Terms & Conditions
In force from 13 November 2025
These Terms & Conditions govern the cashback service provided by InvestPay EAD to users making purchases via Open Banking — connecting merchants, cardholders, and the Amica platform.
1. Subject Matter
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between:
InvestPay EAD — a company registered under Bulgarian law (registration no. 207622569), acting as intermediary between Merchants and Users to provide cashback services. The company owns and operates the digital platform trading as Amica.
Merchants — legal entities or sole traders operating physical and/or online stores participating in the Cashback Programme, offering partial refunds on purchases made during a given reporting period.
Users — individuals or legal entities who are cardholders of payment cards issued by credit or financial institutions, making purchases at Merchant locations and who have given prior consent for access to transaction information on their payment accounts.
2. Definitions
Cashback — the portion of a card payment made by the User that is returned by the Merchant, calculated as a percentage of the purchase value as set by the Merchant and published on the Platform.
Programme — the overall arrangement between InvestPay EAD, Merchants, and Users for the provision of Cashback, administered by InvestPay EAD.
Purchase — a payment for goods and/or services at a Merchant location, made by card.
Iris Solutions AD— a company registered in Bulgaria (registration no. 208455895), licensed by the Bulgarian National Bank as a payment institution providing Open Banking services (ZPSPS Art. 4, items 7 and 8), through which Amica receives transaction data with the User's prior explicit consent.
Payment Account / Account — any account held at a credit or financial institution that enables cashless payments and can be identified under ZPSPS Art. 69a.
Payment Card / Card — a payment instrument issued and maintained by a credit or financial institution.
Reporting Period — one calendar month during which Users make purchases at Merchant locations.
Platform — the Amica web platform for cashback services, accessible at amica.com.
3. Conditions for Participation
For Merchants:
- Signing an individual agreement with InvestPay EAD
- Providing technical capability to confirm qualifying transactions and the applicable Cashback amount
- Supplying InvestPay EAD with accurate, up-to-date information on store addresses, online shop URLs, Cashback rates, and eligibility conditions
For Users:
- Registering on the Amica Platform and accepting these Terms & Conditions. By submitting registration details and clicking "Register now", the User agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions
- Giving prior explicit consent for access to transaction information on one or more Payment Accounts via Iris Solutions, for the purposes of: receiving transaction information, calculating Cashback, and paying out Cashback
- Making a Purchase by card at a Merchant participating in the Programme
- Using a Payment Card linked to an account for which consent for Open Banking access has been granted
Without providing consent for Open Banking access, a User may not participate in the Programme — unless using a Payment Card issued by iCard AD (registration no. 175325806).
4. Cashback Calculation and Payment
The applicable Cashback rate is set by the Merchant and published on the Platform.
Cashback is payable by the 15th of the month following the Reporting Period, provided the accumulated Cashback balance exceeds €10.00 and the User has submitted a payment request during that period.
Cashback is calculated on the actual amount paid by card during a Reporting Period. The date of Purchase is the date on which the transaction is posted to the User's Account.
Cashback is not payable on: returned or cancelled goods/services, or reversed transactions.
Cashback is paid by Amica using funds provided by the Merchant, via bank transfer in Bulgarian lev (and in euros from 1 January 2026 onwards), to the first Payment Account for which the User has granted transaction access consent.
Users holding iCard AD payment cards participate in the Programme automatically and do not need to grant Open Banking consent for that institution. Conditions are available at icard.com.
